Thanks for sharing the great, glorious & quirky Gertrude Stein with us! What a crisp style with all that subtext underneath. An endlessly fascinating character whose last words were to her love Alice Toklas as she was heading off into surgery: "What is the answer?" When distraught Alice could not respond, she then asked, "Then, what is the question?"
