In the middle of last night, I had heartburn so bad, I wondered if I needed an EMT. This morning, I nibble on the English muffin, whose flavor COVID has muddled into inedible grist. I wonder if I'll ever enjoy eating again. Then I read this banquet of words that evoke mental images and emotions sumptuous and fresh. I am well-fed this morning. Thank you, dear writerly friends. It is an honor to read of your lives and imagine us all sitting around a corner booth in a cafe, tasting the joy of creativity. And thank you, Tonya, for bringing us all together from all over the world.
oh my, how lucky am I to be in the company of such creative talent! I marvel at the words that writers write and the worlds and quiet places they take us. Thank you, Tonya
Tabby, it appears that we two elder sisters are much in the same space. While the younger writers are very much in the present, we are in the past, reviewing and delighting (I hope) in the progress we made. Fun times and bad, it makes us the writers we are today.
And Kathryn, I loved your epiphany about her newborn daughters. The little one was waiting for the right body to emerge into the world. Lovely. Absolutely lovely!

I feel lucky to share the page with all of y'all.
And Tonya, I can't wait to read the book! You've created a community of artists and their art, and that is some powerful magic! Thank you!
