It is a keeper for later contemplation, isn't it?

Hooray! Fran and Juke, a perfect combination. And the writing in this prompt shows her exquisite writing talent. Oh, to be Fran's pen for only a minute.

Both my mother and my elder daughter loved the desert with a fierce ardor. I appreciate the silence, especially at dawn and dusk, but have been limited in my exploration by disability. Sere earth is worth returning to in memory, always.

Nice writing, Fran. My takeaway, be it landscapes or emotions, is that one has to see beyond the 'sere' to see the real beauty. The landscape photo is a place I've spent some time in and it evokes a sense of beauty for me. A solitude where one can sit and talk directly to Mother Nature.

Keep writing. I'll read.
