This piece makes me happy. It's a spectacular mosaic and springs from Tonya's vision and desire to create a shared space for thoughtful, intense literature. That sounds like an overwrought thought, but I'll do better after I have some coffee. Maybe I should risk sounding shallow and simply say that I love JUKE Magazine and that this piece shows off the precious community that makes it. Thanks to everybody here and especially to the mighty T.

Me too!! It's the coolest thing for me to see everybody on one page like this. I don't even know exactly where most of y'all live, but I do know you're all writing in from completely far-flung places. It's just amazing that we've gathered this particular group of fantastic people. I couldn't be happier about it.

thank you for sharing Sean Downing's poem last. It has a powerful and wild imagery that describes the tempestuous nature of skies in the West and how they affect our being.

Thanks, Sue! Yep, I agree. It's a powerful poem

oh what a fun ride thought all these pieces! lovely collection of thoughts, photos and commentary. Thank you Tonya for your ability to occasionally "herd your cats" together!

Thank you for being one of us cats! I love that particular idiom so much. Thanks, Tabby

Paul, I, too, have found wonder and reprieves in Juke and the quality of the work and people contributing, especially encouraged with grace and beauty in the Editor in Chief's own work and words. Thank you all, and mighty Tonya. C.

Thanks so much, Connie! I'm so grateful, as always, to have you in the Juke crew.

Love ALL of this. The skies lately have been my favorite... crisp, clear celestial bodies as the thin crescent moon enlarges and softens on its descent into the northwestern horizon. Dissolving the day's ups, downs, and constant background noise into the darkness, and clearing the slate for a fresh start at dawn.

What a beautiful description! Your skies sound wonderful.
