Love it! Science & Math has always eluded me, but Geology (called "Science for English Majors) was the one genre I loved & embraced. This poem is...pure poetry.

Thank you, Ellen. You and I are made of the same "stuff." English majors with NO concept of math. I married a nerd, though, and for the past 40+ years, he's helped mold my brain into a more maliable state for STEM. That said, geology was also something I could wrap my mind around and embrace. It's visual, like geometry. We can SEE it. And Jeff was a geology major, but turned to computer programming because it's language-based. He and I enjoy going for rides and pointing out the "lay of the land" so to speak and how it formed.

We have a lot of overlapping stuff, Sue! I too have been with my techie husband for (well, almost) 40 years. Your spousal mind-melding is a beautiful thing.
