That theater is my favorite. Beautiful but abandoned. Clean yet hidings intrigues inside those art deco walls. A former palace now stripped of its titles.
I brought it on Amazon. Didn't know any better and wanted it pronto, but got to leave this review with 5 stars. I had fun even writing it. Completely sincerely fell into the work, Paul. Great photos, and wonderful essay, also endarkening. C.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great photographs, beautifully shot, unique.

I really really loved this. It’s terrific and fabulous and totally unique. The book speaks to me in another language I feel I’m being taught as I turn the page. I lost myself in each vision. Just penetrating. Thanks so much for putting Dark Florida together for the rest of us to take our dives in. I got to the point where I was holding in my breath. Gonna get lost every time. Otherworld-colors and bands of light and proportions, distances that leave the page, capturning my eyes and my mind. I'd send it to the Smithsonian Institute that sends special human creations into outer space for nonearthlings to see it and understand who we are better. This book and these photographs because they made me question each one's rarity deserves to speak for us on earth, and tell them who we are, how resounding our art can be in its visionary qualities.
Thanks, Connie. That means the world to me, and "endarkening" is a cool word. Not sure if it's a neologism from you, but it's the first time I have heard it.
Hey Paul, I hope you and your crew are doing great. No problem about Amazon, I will just donate more money to Ukraine as penance for using Amazon! By the way, I have friends at Lithic Books here in Fruita and I believe they also do some publishing. Not sure if that might be an option.
gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. it's amazing how much gorgeous light shines throughout dark florida.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, ANTHONY. HIGH PRAISE, COMING FROM YOU. I APPRECIATE IT. CAPSLOCK GOT STUCK...

"endarkening" just popped out, Paul. Felt it. Thanks to you. Had to look up "neologism" to answer that. C.
Rowdy applause & kudos on this wonderful book, Paul! Each image is a poetic dreamscape & your words complement the images to perfection.

Wonderful! I have 2 of Paul’s books, now I need this new one plus “Breaking Gravity”!
thanks, Jeff. Until I can find another print-on-demand publisher, I have to use Amazon, I'm sorry to say. I'm working on fixing this.
