I never read much by Virginia Woolf, and didn't know she wrote little things like this. Really a little treat of a read. Thanks

And the apples and shadows, things solid and evaporated. Excellent.

Thank you for this, Tonya. We need it now in the era of crassness. How Woolf succeeds in handing us eternity, the past, present, and future entwined like the lovers, the best and lasting action that can appear so fleeting but is the outlasting vine that keeps alive the hope. The passion that brings love. The holding each other tight. Just a wonderful wonderful piece of writing. I love the grass and light, shifting. Wow. Thanks so much.

I’m so happy you liked it!! I knew most people wouldn’t be up for a big read, given the holiday weekend, but I thought this little piece was just perfect.
